Bloodroot

$8 each or 3 for $15

Bloodroot emerges in woodlands before the trees leaf out.  Their white blossoms appear for a very short time early spring, emitting a wonderful fragrance that attracts many kinds of early-flying pollinators such as Mason bees and Carpenter bees.

Dutchman's Britches

Dicentra cucullaria, Dutchman's britches, or Dutchman's breeches, is a perennial herbaceous plant, native to rich woods of eastern North America, with a disjunct population in the Columbia Basin. The common name Dutchman's breeches derives from their white flowers that look like white breeches.

Largeleaf Waterleaf

 Hydrophyllum macrophyllum, or largeleaf waterleaf, is a native perennial herb found in the eastern United States, often in moist, rocky woodlands. It is characterized by large, coarse, fuzzy leaves, often featuring silver-white mottling that looks like water spots. It produces clusters of white/creamy flowers from April to June.

Crane-Fly Orchid

Tipularia discolor, the crippled cranefly or crane-fly orchid, is a perennial terrestrial woodland orchid, a member of the family Orchidaceae. It is the only species of the genus Tipularia found in North America.
